BYC is being rebuilt! While this is underway, we want to get together a group of members, youth workers, trustees and supporters to look at what is important about Youth Work at BYC.
This is an invitation to come and share your experience and expertise at a creative & interactive workshop. We will be working in small groups to creatively share your experiences and to work out what makes BYC, BYC! What does the future hold? What will life look like in years to come? What might happen in the days after tomorrow?
Brighton based artists David Blandy & Daniel Locke are exhibiting artwork from their first collaborative role-play game. It was successfully crowd funded and released in Summer 2024 under their new own imprint Copy/Paste Co-op. It’s a tale of hope, a survival game where a group of mis-fit characters work together. The exhibition has evolved with input & inspiration with from young people from B.Game, BYC’s dedicated weekly board game & gaming session.
Collaborative World Building Workshop: David Blandy & Daniel Locke

A two hour workshop exploring David Blandy & Daniel Locke’s collaborative world-building games and art, using voice, writing and drawing to imagine new worlds. Participants will also have the opportunity to start creating their own world-building game, using table top role-play techniques to think about how we can use these forms to expand ideas around society and history.
